The Art Curriculum at BGGS

We strongly believe in the vital role art and design play in allowing creativity, curiosity and self-expression to develop alongside resilience, confidence and critical thinking skills.

Our broad-based curriculum enables students  to develop and build creative skills exploring a variety of techniques with a range of media .

Students are introduced to a wide range of art, artists and designers from different historical contexts and a wide range of cultures creating visually literate world citizens with an understanding of their own and others cultural heritage and how art impacts and enhances our surroundings and society today.
