Teacher of Science (Biology Specialist) 

MPS/UPS Fixed Term Contract Part-Time, 0.5

The Governing Body is currently looking to appoint a Teacher of Science (Biology Specialist) to join our School in September 2020 for one Academic Year in the first instance.

The Science Department has a strong reputation for success with students making outstanding levels of progress in GCSE and A Level.

There is potential for the hours of the role to increase in accordance with the projected growth of the Sixth Form.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to raising the achievements and expectations of students, curriculum innovation and deploying a wide range of teaching strategies to ensure that every student achieves their full potential and will:

  •  Have excellent interpersonal skills
  •  Be an outstanding teacher who inspires colleagues and students
  •  Have the energy, drive and commitment to make a real contribution to whole school
  •  Be confident in teaching KS3 to KS5 Biology

Closing Date: 12 noon on Friday 22 May 2020.

Virtual interviews will be held after May half term.

  

Teacher of the Deaf

MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance  Maternity Cover, Full-Time

 The Governing Body is currently looking to appoint a Teacher of the Deaf to join our Hearing Resource Base in September 2020 until Easter 2021 in the first instance.

The successful candidate will be fully committed to raising the achievements and expectations of students, curriculum innovation and deploying a wide range of teaching strategies to ensure that every student, across all Key Stages achieves their full potential.

Candidates must meet the needs of the profession and deaf students.
