  • Wednesday 16 June 2021 Social visits cancelled / postponed We are sorry to say that we have had to cancel / postpone the social visits planned between now and the end of term. Current Covid-19 advice is that people in Birmingham should not be travelling out of the city to visit theme parks, etc.
  • Monday 14 June 2021 More meal options at lunchtime We have increased the number of meal options available for students in Years 7 to 11 to pre-order during registration. This will provide a greater variety of food for girls whilst the Covid-19 disruption continues

  • Wednesday 24 February 2021 Video tour of Covid Testing at BGGS We encourage all staff and students to agree to be tested for Covid-19 (Coronavirus) as part of the mass testing programme when students return to school from the 8th March.   • Wednesday 27 January 2021 Effective use of the 16-19 tuition fund The number of students who have not passed either Maths/English has now reduced to 44 from the original 59. These are pleasing results as 15 additional students have now passed their GCSE Maths / English after few weeks of catch-up classes that started in October2020. These classes are funded by the 16-19 tuition fund.
